The Curriculum

Here is the general information:

The camp will run from June 13-Aug 19th, Monday-Friday 10am-1pm.
18415 11th. Avenue Orlando, Florida 32833

The camp is for children 5-12yrs but if you have younger child you can bring them as long as that child stays with you.

There are a couple a weeks in there where there are some groups coming in to do VBS.
You can still help out then too. I'm sure they'd be glad for extra hands who know the children.

First Presbyterian of Maitland, FL July 18-22

I just want to get to really planning...Hee hee hee!
I pray I can get some people signed up to help on paper today. We'll take whatever time you can give. Maybe you can commit to once a week from 10am-1pm. If you want to come out every other day or all week that would be great too. Can you lead singing? Help parents fill out registration forms? Be in a skit? Lead a small group in discussion? Tell corny jokes? Kick a ball? Run the AV equipment? Apply a band aid? Smile? Hug a child? We can use your help. Talk to God about it and then I'll get you on the schedule!

We are serving a delicious spaghetti dinner in Bithlo tonight.

If you have donations you can drop them off there or at my house or we can meet some place.

We need:
Play-doh
Board games
Outdoor games
Water games
Legos
Puzzles
Christian DVDs
Arts and crafts materials

Wet wipes
Hand sanitizer
Paper towels
Napkins
Paper plates
Snacks
cups

If you think of anything else we need let me know.

If you know of any guest speakers we could have come share something special wit the children let me know.

For example:

Someone who can talk about and bring exotic animals or pets.
Fire fighter
Police officer
Dinosaurs
...just to name a few ideas.
